Made Visual, based in Fitzroy, Melbourne, is the boutique multi-disciplinary graphic design studio under the creative direction of Tim Allan. Made Visual specialises in branding and identities, photography, print and publications, and web design.
Made Visual is known for building strong client relationships and delivering high quality, unique graphic design solutions through liaison with clients and industry professionals including printers, photographers and website developers. Its broad client base ranges from small businesses to large organisations in a range of industries, including education, not-for-profits, government and music.
Director Tim Allan is an award winning graphic designer with over eight years experience in the creative industry. His reputation for design excellence is built upon his breadth of industry experience in Europe and Australia.
In 2001 Tim was awarded, based upon his study portfolio, two consecutive three-month internships with internationally renowned design giant Pentagram at their London and New York studios. Tim worked in John Rushworth’s team assisting with concepting and layout for Pentagram’s blue chip clients, including One & Only Resorts and The Dorchester Hotel. After an extended tour of Europe, Tim returned to Australia where he worked with graphic design firm, RU Advertising. Here, Tim’s clients included the Victorian Government, The Diocese of Ballarat and Summerfield Wines.
Returning to Europe, Tim based himself in the Emerald Isle’s capital Dublin, where he joined boutique multi-disciplined graphic design studio Four5oneº Creative (now AMP Visual). During this time Tim’s graphic design won the studio a ‘Silver Agency Award’ at the 2010 Air Transport World Ad Awards. After a year of awe-inspiring landscapes, cities, culture, laughs, graphic design and photography experience, Tim returned to Australia to establish Made Visual.
Made Visual is based in Fitzroy, the creative hub of Melbourne. Tim’s experience, industry connections and passion for excellence in graphic design and photography allow him to take your brief from concept to completion.
